For use in primary or regrind circuits in mineral, chemical, or industrial pilot plants or small commercial size applications. Sepor ball mills are flexible for wet or dry grinding in an open or closed circuit as a rod, ball, or pebble mill. Typical grinding applications include: copper, lead-zinc, fluorspar, uranium, molybdenum, etc.,  ore processing pilot plants; high grade industrial materials to liberate values prior to recovery by subsequent processing; grinding of chemicals or material such as limestone for use as reagents.

Sepor’s Ball Mill is constructed of A 36 steel, the barrel measures 3 x 5 feet with a feed discharge ports that are blind flanged 180 degrees from each other.  The mill has a removable steel grates on the discharge ports to retain the grinding media and allow for the discharge of material. Sepor can provide a static screen box that the grinding charge and product would discharge into that would allow the product to be washed through and the charge inspected. The shafts are 3-15/16ths and after welding, all parts are checked for concentricity. The mill comes standard with heavy duty bearings, full set of V- belts, a 15 HP/380V/3ph/50Hz or 220V/3ph/60Hz motor with motor mount and gear box. The ball mill utilizes 3 gaskets; 1 for each port and 1 for the barrel lid. The mill employs an electrical drive that allows for soft start and jogs and that fully integrates to the electrical control panel and mill rotation counter. The unit is mounted on a heavy duty welded steel table and is supplied with a complete set of safety guards. The barrel is designed to client specifications examples of which are; lined with rubber, wave liners or lifter bars.

The grinding media is purchased separately; the mill will easily handle a 40% of mill volume grinding charge based upon a 1000kg charge. All parts are deburred and lightly sanded after weld and prepped for painting.
