Air Swept Vibrating Ball Mill
The Micro Mill is a high frequency vibrating ball mill, with built in air sweep injectors to fluidize the bed of material to be ground. The air injected into the mill allows fine grinding to occur in a mill without having to wet grind. The air fluidizes the bed of material, allowing for removal of the fine, ground material, and also keeps fine material from re-agglomerating.
The spring suspended grinding chamber applies almost all of the energy from the drive directly to the mill and material being ground. The results are the mill is very efficient with a rapid grinding cycle. Minimum force is transmitted to the supporting foundation.

Rods may be used to reduce large size particles in one mill (Rougher) and feed ball charged secondary mill for fine grinding to -1 micron.
The Model 624 is the Laboratory Size mill. It is 6 inches in diameter by 24 inches long, with a 1 hp/230- 460 3 ph/50-60 Hz motor. The mill chamber is constructed of carbon steel. An optional abrasion resistant lining of polyurethane is also available. This mill is suited for 20-40 pounds of material for batch grinding or processing on a continuous basis.
The Model 1040 is the Pilot Plant Size mill, 10 inches in diameter by 40 inches long, with a 5 hp/230-460 3 ph/50-60 Hz motor. The mill chamber is constructed of carbon steel. An optional abrasion resistant lining of polyurethane is also available. This mill is suited for 200 – 400 lbs/ hour of material (quartz) for grinding on a continuous basis.
