The Micro Mill is a high frequency vibrating ball mill, with built in air sweep injectors to fluidize the bed of material to be ground. The air injected into the mill allows fine grinding to occur in a mill without having to wet grind. The air fluidized the bed of material, allows for removal of the fine, ground material, and keeps fine material from re-agglomerating. Material may effectively be reduced to 45 micron (20 to 50 mesh feed).
The spring suspended grinding chamber applies almost all of the energy from the drive directly to the mill and material being ground. The results are the mill is very efficient, has a rapid grinding cycle, capable of grinding to -1 micron, minimum force is transmitted to supporting foundation, air swept option for dry fine grinding, table attachment for wet grinding, low maintenance, and is suitable for grinding a wide range of materials.

Rods may be used to reduce large size particles in one mill (Rougher) and feed ball charged secondary mill for fine grinding to -1 micron.
The Model 624 is the Laboratory Size mill, 6 inches in diameter by 24 inches long, with a 1 Hp/230- 460 3 Ph/50-60 Hz motor, drive has the mill chamber constructed of carbon steel. An optional abrasion resistant lining of polyurethane is also available. This mill is suited for 20-40 pounds of material for batch grinding or processing on a continuous basis.
The Model 1040 is the Pilot Plant Size mill, 10 inches in diameter by 40 inches long, with a 5 Hp/230-460 3 Ph/50-60 Hz motor, drive has the mill chamber constructed of carbon steel. An optional abrasion resistant lining of polyurethane is also available. This mill is suited for 200 – 400 lbs/ hour of material (quartz) for grinding on a continuous basis.
